Digital Information

Digital Information we get from the internet. This can be in the form of text, videos, images and audio or a combination of all. There’s a lot of information available so it’s important to find reputable sites. You do this by looking at things like the web address itself, sites such as Pandora have .gov and the Education Department has .edu these show that they are connected to the government websites and only have reliable true information on them. When online shopping seeing the security padlock says the site has security in place and is safe to use.
We can use all types of digital information in our classrooms ie. Infographs, Pinterest, online dictionaries, blogs and skyping people of interest. Making it a habit of only accessing reliable sites will ensure students are well informed.
